General Questions About Story Planner

Some of the most frequently asked questions about how Story Planner works.

I have an older version of macOS. Can I run Story Planner on my Mac?

Story Planner 5.8 and later versions are only available for macOS Monterey 12.2 and later. If you have an earlier version of macOS, you won’t be able to install Story Planner. We understand that it’s disappointing news, but we had to perform the update from Monterey to incorporate all the new features of Story Planner for macOS. We would have liked to offer the newest version of Story Planner for older devices, but it wasn’t possible. We hope you understand, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Can I try Story Planner before I buy it?

There is no free trial version at this time. Sorry. But remember that you have 14 days to cancel the purchase of an app. If you decide to try it and don’t like it, you can ask for a refund.

You can also watch an overview video and video tutorials on our Youtube channel. This way, you can look at how Story Planner works and decide if it works for you:  Story Planner Youtube Channel.

Is there a version for Windows/Android or plans to develop one?

Story Planner is only available for iOS and macOS at the moment. Although we would like to develop a version for Windows in the future, we can not ensure that we will do it or when. We want to be sure to create the best app we can, and diversifying to different operating systems would not benefit Story Planner right now.

Does Story planner offer VoiceOver support?

Yes. Story Planner comes with VoiceOver support on iPhone, iPad, and iPhone. VoiceOVer is a screen reader technology available on iOS and macOS, which helps sight-challenged people access iOS apps functions with finger gestures.

You can enable VoiceOver in:
